The Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups produce a fuller and warmer tone with vintage strat characteristics. The alnico 2 magnets have less magnetism which allows for more natural sustain and a smoother top end. Treble Bleed Mod. I use my favorite combination for a smoother treble bleed on this pick guard. The 100k resistor wired in parallel with a. 001uf capacitor on the volume helps smoothly retain the high end when turning the volume down. Lindy Fralin Neck and Bridge Blend Pot. This pre wired pick guard also features a Lindy Fralin blend pot in place of the last tone knob. This allows you to blend the neck and bridge pickups together in the 1, 2, 4, and 5 positions on the five way. Blending the neck and bridge pickups together produces a unique “telecaster” tone… Kind of like the middle position on a tele. The middle tone serves as a master tone for all three pickups. I have a really clean set of GREAT sounding Kinman Strat pickups consisting of two AVN-56 pups in the neck and middle and an AVN-62 in the bridge. All loaded onto a genuine Fender gold anodized pick guard with an orange drop tone cap and quality full sized pots and switch pro wired!
