1980s Fender ST-357V MIJ Japan Stratocaster guitar pickups loaded pickguard

Up for sale is a loaded pickguard for Fender Japan Stratocaster. Late 80s or early 90s. All pickups and electronics work fine. No breaks in the pickguard; clean face. Oddly, the pickguard looks modded for a Floyd Rose but was installed on the body that was stock for a Floyd Rose. Not sure what that is about.

The Sensor pickups have the same specifications with the same great tone. Crisp top end and bell-like tone, the Lace Sensor Gold utilizes the latest technology to provide excellent tone for today’s guitar players. The Lace Sensor family has a unique radiant Field Barrier system that surrounds both the coil and magnets, reducing annoying 60-cycle hum. The patented Lace Micro Combs replace traditional bobbins, yielding a wider tonal range and better string balance than traditional pickups. Lace Loaded Pickguards are pre-wired with quality components (250k full size pods, USA-Made switch, NTS Caps) all on a 3-ply pickguard. Includes knobs and switch knob. Designed to drop-in to your Strat and connect with only 2 wires. Less Noise, More Harmonics As compared to standard pickups, Lace Sensors read a greater physical area of the string, while picking up less outside interference. This makes the signal-to-noise ratio nothing short of phenomenal for a single coil system. Increased Sustain, Truer Pitch Since they operate so efficiently, Lace Sensors can utilize the much lower energy magnets than ordinary electric pickups, and this in turn brings about a whole new realm of properties. In regular pickups, the magnetic fields are so strong they physically dampen, or drag on, the strings’ vibration, reducing sustain and actually changing the pitch. But in Lace Sensors, string dampening is virtually nonexistent. This means your sustain is increased dramatically while the string holds its true pitch for the duration of the note.

Fender Strat Ultra from the 90’s was one of the best and coolest releases of all time. Low-noise and hum USA made Lace Sensor pickups were revolutionary at the time. They were color coded as Red, Gold, Silver and Blue. Reds were hotter, more mid heavy and have been paired as a humbucker with a toggle switch wired to select either of the sides or both pickups simultaneously (humbucker mode). Golds are Strat Classic sound, chimy, bell-like. And finally Blue billed as Blues humbucker, best described as P90-like tone. 5 way switch is wired to select Bridge/Neck pickups at position 3. These innovative options at the time pushed Fender Strat Ultra into new uncharted tone territory. Fully working condition, at some point previous owner had different pickups in there, but I restored it to its original glory. Standard 11-hole layout should fit standard Fender USA/Mexico and aftermarket bodies. Connect lead and ground wires and ready to play. Please read description and study photos which are part of it. I don’t know much about this. I picked it up at an estate sale so I don’t have any knowledge of the history or functionality of these. For parts, or repair.

“95 Night Jar” T Fender LOADED STRATOCASTER PICKGUARD. HOT off the design Bench this one comes to life! Original a 95 Ceramic Fender from the original Factory and gone though and hot wired by GG USA. GG USA is a professional Stratocaster custom Hot Rod design shop. FOR DETAILS ON THE WIRING go to wiring menu on Stratocaster Design or Gombrelli Guitars website and look for POWERSHIFTER – Custom designs are also available. Functional summary: This is a Fender 1995 Ceramic basic Stratocaster pickguard in Black Single Ply and Cream. It has been completely gone though and hot wired with a POWERSHIFTER circuit by GG USA. MODEL NIGHTJAR T by GG USA. ORIGINAL FENDER 1 ply Black Pickguard NOTE: It is used and has surface scratching but otherwise in excellent condition. PICKUPS: FENDER 95 Ceramics. ORIGINAL Fender CREAM accessories in Excellent condition! Comes with GG USA documentation and certificate of Auth. SALECOM Dual Stratbucker switch. Oak Grigsby 5 way switch wired with #2 and #4 in parallel for stock. Both Series, Parallel and Series//Parallel combination circuits. Custom Design and wired by Bruce Gombrelli of Gombrelli Guitars USA. All our Stratocaster products go beyond a stock and are hot rodded unless otherwise stated. Hard Tail bridge models will not fit this pickguard. USED EQUIPMENT: All our pickguards are checked from proper DCR values and good wire and solder connections. When it is hot wired all that wiring is new. If any wires seems less than good from Fenders original we replace them. The Jack wiring is new and long so it’s easy to wire in.
