This Loaded Stratocaster SSS pickguard features Alnico 5, hand-wound vintage/warm, 60’s vibe pickups wound and assembled entirely by me. It’s a drop-in replacement for most modern Strats. Just solder the output jack and you’re ready to play. I wind every coil myself. I’m obsessed with getting those gorgeous single coils to sing, and the scatter-winding reduces parasitic capacitance for extra clarity and top-end detail. I gig with the same pickups and get regular compliments on the sound. This is not a kit full of cheap parts, it’s a lovingly built piece of gear made in short runs, one at a time. You’ll hear the difference: classic Strat chime, great definition, and touch-sensitive response. The pickguard is red-ish tortoiseshell with white knobs and covers and still has the plastic cover.
