Hand-wound’60s Strat-style loaded pickguard, hand-wired with quality components and ready to drop in. The result is a classic’60s Strat tone with added sparkle on the top end, while still holding onto body and balance. With a slightly stronger presence, it cuts through cleanly and stays defined when pushed, delivering that familiar bell-like Strat character without turning muddy under gain. Everything is fully assembled, hand-wired and tested before it leaves the bench, so you get a clear, articulate setup that drops straight into your guitar. No soldering, no chasing parts, no guesswork. High-scatter Hand-wound Classic’60s Strat-style single coils. 42 AWG poly magnet wire. Middle: 6.0k (RWRP for hum-cancelling in positions 2 & 4). Oak Grigsby 5-way blade switch. CTS 250k audio taper pots. 0.047µF 225P film capacitor, Elpac. Tone 2: middle + bridge. Fits most modern Strat-style guitars. May not fit some Squier models.

The surface of the product is covered with a film to prevent scratches and damage. Please remove the film before installing the product on the guitar. Material: Metal, plastic, copper, magnets. Resistance: N/M/B: 6.5Kohm/ 6.8Kohm/ 14.5Kohm. (K resistance is for reference only, which will change as the temperature changes). Hole Distance: N/M/B: 50mm/52mm/52mm. 1X 3-ply Guitar Pickguard. 2X single coil pickups. 1X 473J 400V Caps (Made in USA). In addition to the original function, the single-cut toggle brings new functions, as follows. Toggle on + 5-way at the bridge pickups = neck and bridge pickups work together. Toggle on + 5-way at the middle pickups = neck and middle pickups work together.

The neck is lower output and clear, with a slightly hotter bridge that holds up well for clean lead work. Loaded with modified Duncan Designed Alnico 5 pickups, with a hotter bridge and a medium-wound neck and middle. The factory shielding has been removed, which opens them up and improves clarity. A solid, punchy setup with a bit more output in the bridge while keeping usable, balanced tones across the other positions. Modified Duncan Designed Alnico 5 pickups. Fitted with Fender V-Mod II pickups, CTS pots and an upgraded Fender Oak Grigsby 5-way switch. These pickups are used in the American Professional II series and are known for blending vintage warmth with clear, modern articulation. A versatile setup with good balance across all positions – clean and articulate, but still able to push when you lean into it. Fender V-Mod II pickups. This Loaded Stratocaster SSS pickguard features Alnico 5, hand-wound with hotter on the bridge and clean on the neck pickups wound and assembled entirely by me. It’s a drop-in replacement for most modern Strats. Just solder the output jack and you’re ready to play. I hand-wind every coil myself in small batches, chasing that clean, airy, bell-like Strat tone I’ve always loved. I gig with the same pickups I sell and I’m constantly tinkering with Strats. This is not a kit full of cheap parts, it’s a lovingly built piece of gear made in short runs, one at a time. You’ll hear the difference: classic Strat chime, great definition, and touch-sensitive response. Wiring follows vintage Fender spec. The neck is right about vintage 50s spec giving you a bright bell like Strat tone and the bridge is slightly warmer to balance the volume. The middle is a balance between the two. It’s a relatively bright winding of the pickups with scooped mids and nice high end. If you want a different colour or spec, check my other listings or send me a message.
