All of the other components including the knobs, switch tip, pots and 5-way switch are all brand new. It’s wired up using the American Standard/Series wiring minus the no-load tone pot (instead it is three CTS 250k audio split shaft pots). Master volume and two tone pots, the bottom tone control for the bridge and middle and the 2nd tone control for the neck. If you’re unfamiliar with the Tex-Mex pickups they’re Alinco 5, vintage stagger (where the G and D magnet poles are raised at the same height) and polysol magnet wire and overwound to roughly 7.4k bridge, 6.4k RWRP middle, and 6.4k neck. In addition it’s been upgraded with a treble bleed circuit on the volume pot 1/4w 150k resister and. 001uf cap in parallel and Orange Drop. It also has the standard 5-way selector switch. Just solder three points, screw down the grounding post and you’re ready to go! It also includes all of the pickguard screws as well as the grounding claw screw, a brand new Switchcraft 11 1/4 output jack and a printout of the official Fender American Strat wiring diagram. Condition wise it shows some very light signs of use but in overall excellent near mint condition and fully functional. The back cover is mint with the plastic still on. It was rebuilt to fully stock except for the addition of a treble bleed circuit on the volume pot 1/4w 150k resister and. 001uf cap in parallel and Orange Drop. The switch, volume, tone and no-load tone pots have all been sprayed with DeoxIT for nice smooth and noise free operation as well as any weak solder joints from the factory re-done. 1996 was around the first year the “Delta Tone” Alnico 5 flat pole pickups and wiring appeared (with RWRP middle and overwound 7.2k bridge, 6.0k neck/middle), no-load middle/bridge tone pot (which replaced the old TBX pot), Oak Grigsby 5-way switch and is fully wired up. Just solder three points, screw down the grounding post and you’re ready to go! Also included are all of the pickguard screws as well as the grounding claw screw, a brand new Switchcraft 11 1/4 output jack and a printout of the official Fender wiring diagram (from the 2000 American Series, but same wiring).
