Have you ever been physically attracted to an inanimate object? They’re simply some of the best looking and sounding single coils on either side of town. Inside you is two musicians. One wants to look fabulous. The other wants to sound fabulous. For once, feed them both something other than cargo shorts, Ramen, and PBR. We use AlNiCo V magnets and overwind our pickups to provide some extra kick. Extra touches of quality are evident, with bobbins made of fiber rather than plastic, wrapped windings, and a cloth-wrapped, instead of vinyl, output lead wire. The metal covers on our Gold Foils make them ever so slightly warmer than our famous Texas Vintages.

2014 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Josefina Loaded Pickguard 64 Anniversary

2014 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Josefina Loaded Pickguard From 64 Anniversary. These Hand Wound Josefina Campos pickups were pulled from a 2014 Custom Shop Anniversary 64 Relic Stratocaster. The COA and Floor Travler shown are not included just shown to verify the pickups. We built the pickguard using an older pickguard, new CRL 5 way switch, CTS pots and caps. This combination sounds truly amazing. The middle pickups is not reverse wound so you get a killer fatter tone from the 2 & 4 positions. The wire had a break from where someone nicked it when they pulled them out. Greg from Migas Touch Pickups simply detached the lead and unwound it 32 to winds to get to the break. Then he re-attached it, soldered the lead back on and flash wax potted it to seal it which is why the signature on the bottom looks fadded, the hot wax caused it. Just wanted to be up front but honestly most would never know. Again the tones these put out is freakin amazing.

Vibrato effect: Quickly change the volume to produce a vibrato effect. Distortion: Increases the distortion or compression of the audio signal to produce the characteristic tones of rock, metal, and other musical styles. Overload: “overloads” the signal before it is amplified, increasing volume and distortion to create warm orchestral tones. Blur: Adds extremely rich distortion to produce heavy, harsh tones.

Open box Demo item. Light scratches from storage. Klein/CTS Low friction pots. We began this set by reverse engineering another Trio of pickups. We use this set in our Black Strat. The neck is wound with 42ga Heavy Formvar magnet wire, vintage staggered Alnico 5 magnets, and scatter wound. Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics. Output: Neck 5.55k, Middle, 6.15k, Bridge 12.05k.
