You are looking at a brand new pre-wired pickguard with a set of 3 genuine Fender USA Pure Vintage Limited Edition’65 Pickups. The’65 pickups are faithful reincarnation of the Fender vintage, warm, woody sound heard at Woodstock from Jimi Hendrix and other guitar heroes during the 1960s. Features green/grey bottom just like the Custom Shop version of 60s pickups. The color for this listing is aged cream on gold anodized metal pickguard. It looks very cool! There is a protective plastic cover on the pickguard to be peeled off when you get it. The cool thing about this loaded pickguard is that we will install a 7 way mini toggle switch between the 5 way switch and the volume knob (not shown in the pictures). This allows you to combine the neck and bridge pickups, and/or use all three pickups at the same time. Otherwise it comes with the 7 way switch. This listing is for regular 11 hole pickguard, and it will fit all Fender American, Mexico, Japanese, and Custom Shop strat with 11 mounting screw holes. We can also do any custom color of pickguard loaded with any pickups with any custom wiring needs. For example, you can combine Fralin pickups with any Fender or Duncan pickups; or add a Duncan liberator system or 1-3 mini toggle switches (like 7 function Gilmour switch, or the phase inverting switch, or a coil split push pull pot, or a Fender S1 system, adding a bassplate or vintage shielding etc) for more versatile wiring (extra charges may apply). Our Custom Shop can do ANYTHING you want! Brand new Fender 60s style 5 way toggle switch. Brand new Fender CTS pots (top quality, if you know them). The same American-made top quality cotton wrapped (shielded) wires used in Fender Custom Shop (Double-cloth jacket has a waxed cotton outer braid and a Celanese inner braid just like Leo used). High quality no lead soldering tin free from oxidation (the same used on high end stereo system). There are two long lead wires (one hot, one ground) soldered to the volume pot (not shown in the picture). So all you need to do is connect these two wires to your output jack. Lace Sensor Gold Loaded Pickguard – Pickguard is a custom gold (type of metal). Lace sensors are from 2003 and were put into a fender plus guitar for the last 15 years. Functions great and only needs 2 wires to be soldered to guitar input jack. Please look over all the pictures for components. 250k CTS pots and the toggle switch is missing the cap. Also some black shielding paint on red and black wires that go to jack. Pickguard screws are not included. Only what you see in pictures is what you get. Functions perfectly and has a beautiful sound. Lace Sensor Gold Loaded Pickguard. The Lace Sensor Gold Loaded Pickguard. Crisp top end and bell-like tone, the Lace Sensor Gold utilizes the latest technology to provide excellent tone for today’s players. Lace Loaded Pickguards are pre-wired with quality components all on a 3-ply pickguard. Includes knobs and switch knob. Designed to drop-in to your Strat® and connect with only 2 wires. Attention to detail in wiring. Drop-in installation – 2 wire hookup. Lace Sensor-Gold: A classic 50’s Style single coil sound with a classy bell tone. Position: neck, mid, bridge. Inductance: 2.4 henries. The Lace Sensor® family has a unique radiant Field Barrier system that surrounds both the coil and magnets, reducing annoying 60-cycle hum. The patented Lace Micro Combs® replace traditional bobbins, yielding a wider tonal range and better string balance than traditional pickups. Unlike ordinary pickups, Lace Sensors generate 36 separate magnetic “sensing” fields which, in the areas where they contact the string, “read” the strings’ vibration. (Regular pickups only generate anywhere from 4 to 12 fields). Lace Sensors also have Radiant Field Barriers: metal slides which frame the inner core of the Sensors and perform two function. The first is to shield the Sensor from the outside noise and 60 cycle hum. The second is to produce a broader yet more concentrated umbrellas of sensing field that standard magnetic pickups. Less Noise, More Harmonics As compared to standard pickups, sensors read a greater physical area of the string, while picking up less outside interference. This makes the signal-to-noise ratio nothing short of phenomenal for a single coil system. Also, a wider range of harmonic content is read by the Sensor, delivering a more complex tonal response. Increased Sustain, Truer Pitch Since they operate so efficiently, Lace Sensors can utilize the much lower energy magnets than ordinary pickups, and this in turn bring about a whole new realm of properties. In regular pickups, the magnetic fields are so strong they physically dampen, or drag on, the strings’ vibration, reducing sustain and actually changing the pitch. But in Lace Sensor, string dampening is virtually nonexistent. This means your sustain is increased dramatically while the string holds its true pitch for the duration of the note. Up for sale is a brand new Lindy Fralin loaded pre-wired pickguard with a set of Vintage Hot pickups with traditional wiring. We deliver this service for you for free. This listing is for regular 11 hole pickguard, and it will fit all Fender American, Mexico, Japanese, and Custom Shop strat with 11 mounting screw holes. We will try our best to accommodate your custom needs. We can also do any custom color of pickguard loaded with any pickups with any custom wiring needs. For example, you can combine Fralin pickups with any Fender or Duncan pickups; or add a Duncan liberator system or 1-3 mini toggle switches (like 7 function Gilmour switch, or the phase inverting switch, or a coil split push pull pot, or a Fender S1 system, adding a bassplate or vintage shielding etc) for more versatile wiring (extra charges may apply). Everything coming with the pickguard is brand new parts. Brand new Fender 60s style 5 way toggle switch. Brand new Fender CTS pots (top quality, if you know them), turns extremely smoothly. The same American-made top quality cotton wrapped (shielded) wires used in Fender Custom Shop (Double-cloth jacket has a waxed cotton outer braid and a Celanese inner braid just like Leo used). High quality no lead soldering tin free from oxidation (the same used on high end stereo system). There are two long lead wires (one hot, one ground) soldered to the volume pot (not shown in the pictures). So all you need to do is connect these two wires to your output jack. These are truly the best hand wired pickups made in USA. Top notch quality, and used by many great guitar heroes. You will absolutely love these pickups! This is what Lindy has to say about these Vintage Hot pickups. This set is wound with 42 gauge Heavy Formvar wire and has beveled magnets and cloth leads. The neck and middle pickups are average 50s specs, while the bridge is as hot as possible with this wire. A 5% underwind is available for an even brighter clearer tone. Neck – 6 K. Reverse Middle – 6 K. Bridge – 6.6K. Of course return is accepted if not as described. But if you simply don’t like the product, you can always return it within 14 days after receiving it! Vintage 1990’s Fender Lace Sensor Gold Loaded Pickguard assembly – probably from a Strat Plus. This is from a “parting-out” of a project I lost interest in. Fully working – not sure what age is or what specific model this came on. All 3 pickups measure 5.70-5.80 ohms. Looks like some sort of TBX treble-boos t or coil splitte r on second treble pot!
