Mojotone 58 Quiet Coil with Hot Quiet Coil pickguards are masterfully prewired to perfection with no soldering required. What is the difference between the 58 and 67 Quiet Coils? Just like the original 1958 and 1967 Strat pickups, the materials, number of turns, winding patterns, etc all changed throughout the different years of manufacturing. The’58s tend to sound brighter with more upper midrange presence, which gives them a glassier tone, compared to the’67s which are slightly more scooped on the mids with a rounder top end, and more quack in positions 2 and 4 of the 5-way switch. The Pickguard is equipped with a mini toggle switch. When the 5-Way Switch is in the Bridge Position the Neck and Bridge Pickups are Active. In the Middle/Bridge Position, All Pickups are Active. This is sometimes called the Gilmour Mod. Named after David Gilmour of Pink Floyd Fame. When the 5-Way Switch is in the Middle/Bridge Position, both Tone Pots are Active allowing you to blend the tone of the two Pots. And, because this has 7-Way Switching, there are even more blending options. A very nice option indeed! A Treble Bleed allows the highs to pass through the Volume pot as you roll off the Volume. What this does is keep the Brightness and the Clarity of the pickups the same as you roll down the volume. You have the same clarity and brightness at 10 as you would at 9,8,7,6 and so on. This is a super nice! The Middle Pot is a Push/Push Pot. When you depress the knob and release, it splits the coil of the Humbucker making it a single coil. Guitar Madness 59er Alnico 5 Bridge. These have a nice Vintage output with the faithful sound of the true original P. Nice warm sound without sounding dark and muddy. Not shrill like Ceramics. Excellent PUP, and an excellent complement to the S-90s. Guitar Madness S-90s: (Neck & Middle). Made the same way as P-90s with two magnets on either side of the pole pieces. This gives you that extra punch and bark just like the P-90s These come with Alnico 5 magnets for a warmer more vintage-type sound. This is a great way to update your Stratocaster. 2011 Fender Standard HSS Stratocaster Loaded Pickguard Assembly. Fender Standard single-coil middle & neck Stratocaster pickups. Parchment White Pickguard / Parchment White. Complete mounting screws and ground screw set included. Used the pickguard has some play wear as I tried to show in the photos. Not super noticeable except in very bright lighting at certain angles. No functional issues with the pickups or other components. I have cleaned the pots and switch so it is serviced and ready to install. Includes the complete mounting screws set shown.
