The David Allen Strat Cat set. Bourns low friction pots. Mint 3 ply pickguard. Solderless wire port, for Solderless install. This is an exceptional low out put strat set. The neck and middle are lower output then our TruVintage54’s and the bridge is pushed up enough to create a nice balance and has a mix of magnets that create a warm tone. Think JM’s Gravity. A mix of alnico magnets, slightly hand beveled to keep an articulate focused tone. This set is clean, tight, and crisp and the bridge is warm, full and rounded. Hand beveled cast alnico magnets, laser cut hand punched flat work, lacquer dipped, scatter wound, Special wax potted to reduce microphonics, USA Vintage Cloth Hook Up wire, RWRP middle. Inductance in Henries: N 1.92, M 2.04. Neck 5.08, Middle 5.38. Magnet spacing Neck, middle and bridge 52mm.

There is some paint chipping around the neck pocket. Conductive paint was added to the body cavity. The loaded body weighs right around 6 pounds. No scratchy pots, switch or jack. 2 3/16 neck pocket. The pictures show how an Fender MIM Stratocaster neck fits. This is for the loaded body only. The only reason I took the photos with a neck on is to show the fit of an MIM neck. All top quality parts, professionally wired. Back plate and cream whammy tip included. Hook up wires are in place, just solder to your output jack and done. Great pickups, not really a vintage vibe, more contemporary but strat all the way. I converted my strat to a dual humbucker set-up so Im letting this go.
