We have had issues in the past, and through preemptive action, simple mistakes can be avoided. A set of the Vintage Staggered for Strat pickups (SSL-1), pre-loaded into a pickguard ready to drop into your Stratocaster guitar for pure vintage tone. Our Vintage Staggered Strat pickups use hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets and heavy Formvar mag wire with a special wind pattern to produce that bright, glassy, bell tone with all of the bounce and sparkle you’d expect from the best 50s Strat pickups. The treble attack is crisp and immediate, while the low end remains articulate and focused. Chords ring out with clear note to note separation. The pots, selector switch, and cap, are all high quality, and we use vintage style cloth push back wire for all of the connections. This pickguard uses an 11-screw hole “USA” pattern. Since 1978, we’ve been building all of our vintage Fender style single coil pickups with the right color and thickness of Forbon flatwork, along with the period correct magnet stagger. We hand file the flatwork, assemble, and lacquer the bobbin just as it was done during Fender’s Golden Age. Welcome To Pilgrims Projects. 2020 Fender Vintera 50’s Stratocaster Loaded Pickguard Assembly. Vintage-spec single-coil Stratocaster pickups with staggered pole pieces. Classic single-ply white pickguard. Complete mounting screws set included (nickel finish). The original owner removed the protective plastic but put the black decal back on the pickguard. It is easily removeable and should not give you any trouble if you would like to remove it. No functional issues with the pickups or other components. Loaded Pickguard for Stratocaster Strat PTB 50’s PIO Bumblebees Bootstrap Pickup

Let me break this pickguard down for you. It sports a Duesenberg (Germany) 5-Way Switch (B, B+M, M, M+N, N), and a Switchcraft output jack with Bourns A250k Brass shaft Pots. Plus original 50’s PIO Bumblee Tone Caps. The 2 Tone Knobs work together as a 2-band Master Tone Control. The Bottom Tone pot is a Bass Cut with a. The Middle Tone pot is a Treble Cut with a. Both pots have excellent slopes that offer a very wide tone range , yet give you more usability around any chosen sweet spot. Bottom line is that its not as finicky as common tone pots. Once you have found your desired tone , The Volume Pot has a treble bleed matched to this specific setup, keeping that tone constant throughout all volume levels. Neck = 8.6K, Middle = 8.6K, Bridge = 9.5K. It takes a short time to get familiar with this tone setup, but the reward is having the ability to easily get that sweet spot. And once you get your unique sweet spot, you can easily tweak it to any degree darker or lighter, using a range of whole number indicators, instead of finicky minute fractions within an indicator number. Having all this run through those two sweet vintage Bumble Bee Caps will change any basic guitar into a sweet sounding versatile musical instrument.
