The cool thing about this pickguard is the two toggle switches, one of them is a Gilmour 7 way switch that allows you to combine neck and bridge pickups or use all three pickups at the time time. This high output single coil sized humbucker will give you nice crunchy chords, and screaming lead tone with that classic upper midrange cut. There will be tons of bright harmonic sparkle, and a tight focused low end. The middle position Duckbucker there to add that sparkly single coil tone in positions 2, 3, & 4. Its unique, split-pole pattern with 3 poles on each coil, also contributes to the single coil bounciness and snappy low end. The Little 59 in the neck position has a nice, balanced P. The Pickguard is equipped with a mini dpdt toggle switch. When flipped to the ON position it splits the coils on the humbuckers making them Single Coils. A Treble Bleed allows the highs to pass through the Volume pot as you roll off the Volume. What this does is keep the Brightness and the Clarity of the pickups the same as you roll down the volume. You have the same clarity and brightness at 10 as you would at 9,8,7,6 and so on. This is a super nice! Guitar Madness Big Head “Invader Style” Humbuckers. These are very similar to the original Invader pickups. Great for Punk or Heavy Metal. They have a focused bottom end due to the large hex cap pole pieces. This is designed to exactly reincarnate strat pickguard that David Gilmour (with Pink Floyd) uses to record so many great songs. Now with a fraction of the price of a Gilmour signature strat, you can reproduce exactly the tone of the master. The color is white on black (1 ply black pickguard without white middle layer) just like the original strat guitar Gilmour has. It looks very beautiful! The cool thing about this loaded pickguard is that we install a 7 way mini toggle switch between the 5 way switch and the volume knob. This allows you to combine the neck and bridge pickups, and/or use all three pickups at the same time. This makes this pickguard exactly like the one Gilmour uses. This listing is for regular 11 hole pickguard, and it will fit all Fender American, Mexico, Japanese, and Custom Shop strat with 11 mounting screw holes. There is a protective plastic cover on the pickguard to be peeled off when you get it. Everything coming with the pickguard is brand new top quality parts. Brand new Fender 60s style 5 way toggle switch. Brand new Fender CTS pots (top quality, if you know them), turns extremely smoothly. The same American-made top quality cotton wrapped (shielded) wires used in Fender Custom Shop (Double-cloth jacket has a waxed cotton outer braid and a Celanese inner braid just like Leo used). High quality no lead soldering tin free from oxidation (the same used on high end stereo system). Gilmour 7 way switch installed to have 7 tones in total –There are two long lead wires (one hot, one ground) soldered to the volume pot (not shown in the picture). So all you need to do is connect these two wires to your output jack. Of course return is accepted if not as described.
