With thelatter, in particular the Gibson originals, in fact, they share: the height ofthe windings, the type of polar expansions adopted and the thickness of thecopper wire used, namely the AWG 42 (from 0.063 mm in diameter). Consequently, the pickups mounted on this pickguard exhibit output levels that return, thus, comparable with those of classic P90s equipped with AlNiCo magnets. VOLUME (A500K), equipped with full rangetreble bleed (the sound really keeps the same tone at each volume level). FIRST TONE KNOB (500KA push-pull, with 22 nF/ 100V MKP capacitor). Acts on neck and middle pickups. SECOND TONE KNOB (500KA diameter 24 mm, with22 nF / 100V MKP capacitor). Push-pull switch to the first tone knob. Continuous coil resistances (Rs): NECK 4.8Kohm; MIDDLE 4.8 Kohm; BRIDGE 5.2 Kohm. Spacing of the poles (pole spacing): NECK 50mm; MIDDLE 50 mm; BRIDGE 52 mm. Then they were bathed in a mixture ofparaffin and beeswax, to get maximum reliability. PUs have shielded cables. The back of thepickguard is also shielded with aluminum foil that covers the entire surface. The pickguard has been performance tested.
