With a thick single-ply black pickguard, a recessed mini toggle for seven-way switching, and pickups designed to perfectly emulate the tone that shaped the sound of rock, this is sure to take you to the dark side of the moon and beyond. Based off of the iconic Black Strat®, the tone from our Generation Loaded Pickguard is astonishingly familiar. By recessing the mini toggle, you will never accidentally engage / disengage your “neck on” mod. This guard looks great and sounds even better. We’re very proud of the work we did to develop everything that goes into this Loaded Pickguard, and when you have it loaded into your favorite Stratocaster®, you’ll completely understand why. 7-Way Wiring Upgrade allows you to harness the tone. The Everything Axe set for Strat and Liberator system, pre-loaded into either a white or black, three-ply pickguard that will add a ton of versatility to your guitar. Bridge model will take your Strats bridge position to a whole new level. This high output single coil sized humbucker will give you nice crunchy chords, and screaming lead tone with that classic upper midrange cut. There will be tons of bright harmonic sparkle, and a tight focused low end. The middle position Duckbucker there to add that sparkly single coil tone in positions 2, 3, & 4. Its unique, split-pole pattern with 3 poles on each coil also contributes to the single coil bounciness and snappy low end. The Little 59 in the neck position has a nice, balanced P. Like response for big, full chords, and fat, punchy solos. Has that pleasing blend of warmth and bite when you dig in. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, these pickups come with a 4-conductor lead wire, and are wax potted for squeal free operation. The pots, selector switch, and cap, are all high quality, and we use vintage style cloth push back wire for all of the connections. One wants to look fabulous. The other wants to sound fabulous. For once, feed them both something other than cargo shorts, Ramen, and PBR. We use AlNiCo V magnets and overwind our pickups to provide some extra kick. Extra touches of quality are evident, with bobbins made of fiber rather than plastic, wrapped windings, and a cloth-wrapped, instead of vinyl, output lead wire. The metal covers on our Gold Foils make them ever so slightly warmer than our famous Texas Vintages.
