Condition wise it shows some very light signs of use but in overall excellent near mint condition and fully functional. The back cover is mint with the plastic still on. The switch, volume, tone and no-load tone pots have all been sprayed with DeoxIT for nice smooth and noise free operation as well as any weak solder joints from the factory re-done. 1996 was around the first year the “Delta Tone” Alnico 5 flat pole pickups and wiring appeared (with RWRP middle and overwound 7.2k bridge, 6.0k neck/middle), no-load middle/bridge tone pot (which replaced the old TBX pot), Oak Grigsby 5-way switch and is fully wired up. Just solder three points, screw down the grounding post and you’re ready to go! Also included are all of the pickguard screws as well as the grounding claw screw, a brand new Switchcraft 11 1/4 output jack and a printout of the official Fender wiring diagram (from the 2000 American Series, but same wiring).
