This allows you to have all three pickups on at the same time or just the bridge and neck pickups on at the same time depending on where you set the 5-way switch. The Middle and Bottom tone push/pull pots control the functionality of the P-Rails pickups. The pickups can be used in rail, P-90, series humbucking, or parallel humbucking modes depending on the combination of how the push/pull pots are set.
