I played it for a bit and later kept it at a family home that we’d visit twice a year, whereupon I would replace the battery and play the guitar. I got tired of having to swap out a dead battery and replaced the pick guard and these EMGs with passive pickups. So, these have a few miles on them, but not an unreasonable amount. They are fully functional if not cosmetically perfect. Pickguard and parts are genuine Fender and came from a Fender Strat. Pickguard screws are not included. We can also do any custom color of pickguard loaded with any pickups with any custom wiring needs. For example, you can combine Fralin pickups with any Fender or Duncan pickups; or add a Duncan liberator system or 1-3 mini toggle switches (like 7 function Gilmour switch, or the phase inverting switch, or a coil split push pull pot, or a Fender S1 system, adding a bassplate or vintage shielding etc) for more versatile wiring (extra charges may apply). Loaded Fender Starcaster Strat Body. Full-size, some sort of solid wood basswood? Standard Fender neck heel. Body has it’s share of nicks, dings, etc but overall is in good-very good condition. Dragonfire Prewired HS Quad Hot Rails loaded mint-colored pickguard featuring a Dragonfire Quad Rail humbucker and a humbucking single-coil sized Duo Rail. The Quad Rail is wound around ceramic magnets to roughly 23K and rocking for sure! With 4 rails, your bends and notes will ring off the fretboard like never before. Our Duo Rail, with roughly 12K output, features powerful ceramic electrocoated rail magnets and is the perfect mate for the Quad Rail offering humbucker performance in a single-coil sized package. 3-way switch, single volume control. No back plate but does have the trem arm! Everything works fine, for the lost part, bolt on a neck and you have a guitar! Depending on the neck you use, you may have to sand or file the pickguard a little in the neck opening. Nice, cheap Partscaster stuff here! Item is described as accurately. The Middle Tone Pot is a push/push pot. When the 5-Way switch is in the Bridge Position the Neck and Bridge Pickups are Active. In the Middle/Bridge Position, All Pickups are Active. This is sometimes called the Gilmour Mod. Named after David Gilmour of Pink Floyd Fame. Push/Push Pots are fast and perfect for the gigging musician. When the 5-Way Switch is in the Middle/Bridge Position, both Tone Pots are Active allowing you to blend the tone of the two Pots. And, because this has 7-Way Switching, there are even more blending options. A very nice option indeed! A Treble Bleed allows the highs to pass through the Volume pot as you roll off the Volume. What this does is keep the Brightness and the Clarity of the pickups the same as you roll down the volume. You have the same clarity and brightness at 10 as you would at 9,8,7,6 and so on. This is a super nice! The Pickguard is equipped with a Mini On/Off/On Toggle Switch. When the Toggle Switch is in the Off position the Stratobucker is at Full Power. When flipped forward it splits the coil and the Dual Rail is Active. When flipped back the Alnico 5 Rod is active. This is an excellent output and tone option. Guitar Madness Stratobucker Triple Coil (Alnico 5 Rod coil & Dual Rail Ceramic Humbucker). One Alnico 5 Rod Coil and a Dual Rail Hot Ceramic Humbucker. These are excellent PUPS. A combination between a Hot Dual Rail Single coil size Humbucker and a Warm and focused Alnico 5 Pole Side makes this a very versatile PUP. I love it for leads Full or Split. Country to Metal, it will do it all. Guitar Madness 62 Z’s Alnico 5 PUPS. These are excellent sounding Alnico 5 Pickups. They have a nice vintage output. Replicated to sound like the classic 60s single coils. Surf, Country, Blues, Vintage Rock and Rock are all in this Pickups wheelhouse. One of my personal favorites. Excellent PUP, and an excellent complement to the S-90s. Guitar Madness S-90s: (Neck & Middle). Made the same way as P-90s with two magnets on either side of the pole pieces. This gives you that extra punch and bark just like the P-90s These come with Alnico 5 magnets for a warmer more vintage-type sound. This is a great way to update your Stratocaster.
