This was removed from an American Original’60s Stratocaster. Nothing has been changed or modded. Fully intact with the highly praised Fender Pure Vintage’65 pickups and 250K CTS pots. The pickups have vintage-correct enamel-coated wire wrapped around gray-bottom fiber bobbins attached to a beautiful vintage-correct Fender mint green pickguard with the truss rod notch and the aluminum shielding. The wiring uses cloth-covered pull-back wire with the vintage-accurate capacitor, just like Strats from the’60s. The American Original’60s Stratocaster used the exact same Pure Vintage’65 pickups and wiring used on the American Vintage 1965 and American Vintage II 1965 Stratocasters. They are known for being warm and articulate and get a lot of love on all the guitar forums. This is a must-have for anyone building a vintage’60s Stratocaster. The nice thing is you get it already built by the good folks at the Fender factory in the USA. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to chat about it. Specs on the Pure Vintage’65 Pickups. DC Resistance: 5.9K. Inductance: 2.6 Henries. Magnet Type: Alnico 5. From vintage bobbin construction to genuine original-era cloth wiring, all Fender Pure Vintage pickups are wound to precise specifications for authentic, traditional Fender tone and performance. No other pickups give you the powerful, clean and clear surf rock tones of mid-’60s Stratocaster guitars like dutifully constructed, meaty-sounding Pure Vintage’65 Strat pickups. Enamel-coated magnet wire delivers warm vintage-style tones. Alnico 5 magnets add more focus and enhanced dynamics. Staggered polepieces balance volume and output across every string. Period-correct cloth wire and fiber bobbin construction.
