Protective plastic is still on pickguard. 1 Set Guitar Madness Zebra Hot Rod Alnico 5 Humbuckers. 1 1 Guitar Madness Alnico 5 Bar Railcaster. 1 3-Ply Mint Green Shielded SSS Pickguard. 1 Oak Grigsby 5-Way Switch. 1 Mini Toggle Switch. 3 Bourns 500K Push/Pull DPDT Potentiometers. 22uf Capacitor (Bridge Tone). 1 Treble Bleed Orange Drop. 001uf Capacitor W/150Kohm Resister Treble Bleed. 3 Black Metal Dome Knobs. 1 Black Switch Knob. The Pickguard is equipped with Mini Toggle Switch. When the 5-Way Switch is in the Bridge Position the Neck and Bridge Pickups are Active. In the Middle/Bridge Position, All Pickups are Active. This is sometimes called the Gilmour Mod. Named after David Gilmour of Pink Floyd Fame. When the 5-Way Switch is in the Middle/Bridge Position, both Tone Pots are Active allowing you to blend the tone of the two Pots. And, because this has 7-Way Switching, there are even more blending options. A very nice option indeed! A Treble Bleed allows the highs to pass through the Volume pot as you roll off the Volume. What this does is keep the Brightness and the Clarity of the pickups the same as you roll down the volume. You have the same clarity and brightness at 10 as you would at 9,8,7,6 and so on. This is a super nice! All Pots are Push/Pull Pots. When the knob is pulled up on the Volume Pot it cuts the coil of the Neck Humbucker making it a single coil. Middle Tone Pot cuts the coil of the Middle Railcaster and the Bottom Tone Pot cuts the coil on the Bridge Humbucker. Gives you lots of options. HHH, SHH, SSH, SSS, HSS, HHS. Guitar Madness Alnico 5 Vintage Hot Rod Zebra Humbuckers. The Neck has a nice vintage output with the nice faithful sound of the true original P. The Bridge is hot wound. Wanna talk about awesome harmonics when you use a hard pick with a tad bit of palm muting! These have a tighter more pronounced low midrange and bass response that the ceramic magnet version. They sport thinner wire to keep clarity and to cut down on boomyness. Perfect compliment to the GM Hot Rod Humbuckers. This is a great value at this price point. It will really make you guitar come to life. This is a great way to update your Stratocaster. We only use Top-of-the-Line Components, and that makes all the difference.
