This is a really nice clean loaded pickguard. Correct White 1970’s 3 ply pickguard. Now cream in colour with age. Taken from a 1979 serial numbered Fender USA Strat. All pots are CTS 250k. All solder is factory original. Original CRL 5 way switch. White knobs & tip. Bridge: 7.53k Ohms. Middle: 5.79k Ohms. Neck: 5.78k Ohms. Only found in Strats between 1979 & 1982. This is the perfect replacement part if yours are faulty or you need it for a project. Please ask all questions now, because I won’t take responsibility for anything I don’t mention out of lack of knowledge of the item. This Humbucker-Single-Single pickguard is cut for one angled humbucker at the bridge and standard single coils at the middle and neck. This guard is prewired using a matched set of one Dragonfire Screamer Bridge and 2 Single Coils for the Middle & Neck on a Fender U. /Mexican retrofit pickguard for 2002 & Newer US & MIM Fender Standards. We use three full size 500k pots and a 5-way sealed switch for super-smooth and quiet function. Both neck and middle pickups are roughly 5.6K output to pair with our bridge Dragonfire Screamer at approximately 16.9K. 5-way switching works like this. Position 1 – Full Bridge Humbucker. When Joe Bonamassa says his 1955 hardtail Fender Stratocaster, lovingly nicknamed Bonnie, is the best sounding Strat, we listen. And when he says that he wants us to re-create its electronics, we get to work. Powering this loaded pickguard is a trio of vintage-accurate, single-coil Strat pickups. Youll also find several unique touches that continue our accurate recreation ethos of Joes favorite Strat. From the custom made. 1uF/150V capacitor and Joes preferred 5-way selector switch to Bonnies modern switch tip and mini skirt control knobs, its all just as he likes it. And the pickguard is rounded out with a trio of Seymour Duncan Smooth Turning 250K potentiometers. The Joe Bonamassa Signature Bonnie Strat Loaded Pickguard is the easiest and most complete way to nail the best of Joes signature tones. But only 100 are being made, and demand is high. So act fast and dont miss out on this legendary tone. Loaded pickguard Standard (Drop-in replacement). Period correct short Skirt Vol/Tone Knobs. Original style “skirt knobs” made of the same material and they have an authentic “Chicklet” paper and oil capacitor. Vintage 8-hole white pickguard. Vintage wiring (no tone on position 1). Output Jack with 42-gauge push back cloth wire. Only 100 total pickguards made. Special Note about Pickguard. The cover will be molded in the same unique shape and use the same material as the original 54 and 55 Strat pickups. The material is popularly referred to as Bakelite but is not and never was Bakelite, which is not a thermoplastic, but a thermoset and cannot be injection molded. The name Bakelite, was often applied to plastics in the same way that Xerox is often applied to copiers, hence to idea that 54/55 Strat covers were made from Bakelite. The actual original material was, at the time, referred to as Cycolac, which is a trade name for a common plastic, the generic name of which is ABS or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene.
