There is a protective plastic cover on the pickguard to be peeled off when you get it. These pickups have the typical Fender vintage 60s fat, warm sound! This listing is for regular 11 hole pickguard, and it will fit all Fender American, Mexico, Japanese, and Custom Shop strat with 11 mounting screw holes. The first pot is master volume only. The two tone push/pull pots control the bridge and neck tone as well as the functionality of the P-Rails pickups. The pickups can be used in rail, P-90, series humbucking, or parallel humbucking modes depending on the combination of how the push/pull pots are set. Both tone pot knobs down will put both pickups in series humbucking mode. Both tone pot knobs up will put both pickups in parallel humbucking mode. One tone knob up and the other down will put the pickups in P-90 mode. Reverse that setting to get the Rail mode. You are looking at a brand new pre-wired pickguard with a set of 3 genuine Fender USA Pure Vintage Limited Edition’59 Pickups. The’59 pickups have slightly stronger output than other Pure Vintage pickups, allowing them to handle more versatile musical styles. The color for this listing is aged cream on black. It looks very cool! There is a protective plastic cover on the pickguard to be peeled off when you get it. The cool thing about this loaded pickguard is that we will install a 7 way mini toggle switch between the 5 way switch and the volume knob (not shown in the pictures). This allows you to combine the neck and bridge pickups, and/or use all three pickups at the same time. Otherwise it comes with the 7 way switch.
