This prewired setup includes a calibrated set of the YJM Fury signature pickups, and the high-speed no-lube YJM volume potentiometer that meets Yngwie’s demands for speed and responsiveness. These handmade pickups are built and loaded into the pickguards in Santa Barbara, CA. The bridge model is designed to handle Yngwie’s chordal onslaught, and it delivers a precise, articulate response that has just the right amount of high end without sounding harsh or brittle. The bridge model is wound hotter to provide better balance with the neck & middle pickups. Because of the Liberator, the input jack of the guitar can be screwed directly into its terminals, making installation of the pickguard 100% solderless for customers. A detailed wiring diagram is included as well. The pickguard is a classic white 11 hole Strat pickguard. Application High output single-coil-size “rails” humbucker. Great for classic rock, garage, punk, heavy rock, thrash, classic metal and nu-metal. Description One of the highest output and most popular pickups we make. The two thin blades, strong ceramic magnet and powerful coil windings give you the incredible sustain and a fat, full sound that’s needed for playing heavier rock music. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable. Complete setup Available for both bridge and neck/middle positions. For an incredibly versatile guitar, use an SHR-1b in the bridge position along with an SVR-1n Vintage Rails in the middle and an SCR-1n Cool Rails in the neck. About the Guitars: We used all brand new Fender American made’62 re-issue Strat with a medium-weight alder body a rosewood board and a fresh set of American Flyer 10-46 gauge strings. About the Amps: We employed the “highest common denominator” philosophy in our amp selection. For clean tones, we used a silverface Fender Super Reverb with stock 4×10 “blue frame” speakers. We kept the Bright Switch “On” throughout. For crunch tones, we used a well-worn Marshall JCM 800 50 watt master volume head through a new Marshall 1960A Celestion®-loaded 4×12 cabinet. We plugged into the High output. With both amps we close miked straight-on with SM-57s through a Soundcraft Spirit Folio Mixer. These are the amp settings. Cable: Four Conductor – DC Resistance: Neck: 10.8 k, Bridge: 16.9 k – Resonant Peak: Neck: 4.8 KHz, Bridge: 3.5 KHz – Magnet: Ceramic Bar – EQ (B/M/T): 5 / 7 / 4.

When the 5- speed switch is in the second position, the neck + middle pickups work together, pressing the enhanced function switch at this time, neck + middle + bridge pickups will work at the same time. After turning on the single-cut switch, If the sound of single cut is not good, it will be better to use compensation switch.

Simply use the provided screwdriver to tighten the connector for torqued-tight tone. We use the highest-grade pots, switches and jack components on this pickguard to give your guitar an instant electronic upgrade. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, these pickups all use a ceramic bar magnet, come with a 4-conductor lead wire, and are wax potted for squeal free operation. The pots, selector switch, and cap, are all high quality, and we use vintage style cloth push back wire for all of the connections.
