Built to capture the blues sound. These pickups are attack sensitive and respond to very light pick attack, as well as having a lot of snap with a heavy attack. Can be mellow or bright depending on the style of play. I believe these are similar to the pickups that SRV had in his Lenny guitar as they are very clean yet powerful. Controls are master volume, master tone and blender pot, which blends the neck & bridge pickups. I find the blender pot to be quite useful as you can make the bridge a little less bright or use it like a Telecaster configuration.
