The back cover still has the plastic on it. It’s wired up using the American Standard/Series wiring minus the no-load tone pot (instead it is three CTS 250k audio split shaft pots). Master volume and two tone pots, the bottom tone control for the bridge and middle and the 2nd tone control for the neck. If you’re unfamiliar with the Tex-Mex pickups they’re Alinco 5, vintage stagger and polysol magnet wire and overwound to roughly 7.4k bridge, 6.4k RWRP middle, and 6.4k neck. What I did here was modify the stagger, so they are now all flat and non-staggered which gives a nicer balanced output, especially on that G string pole which is no longer raised in relation to the others. In addition it’s been upgraded with a treble bleed circuit on the volume pot 1/4w 150k resister and. 001uf cap in parallel and Orange Drop. It also has the standard Oak Grigsby 5-way selector switch. Just solder three points, screw down the grounding post and you’re ready to go! It also includes all of the pickguard screws as well as the grounding claw screw, a brand new Switchcraft 11 1/4 output jack and a printout of the official Fender American Strat wiring diagram. There is some paint chipping around the neck pocket. Conductive paint was added to the body cavity. The loaded body weighs right around 6 pounds. No scratchy pots, switch or jack. 2 3/16 neck pocket. The pictures show how an Fender MIM Stratocaster neck fits. This is for the loaded body only. The only reason I took the photos with a neck on is to show the fit of an MIM neck. 1995 Fender American Stratocaster loaded pickguard assembly with mounting hardware and tremolo cover. Fender USA Alnico V Single Coil Pickups (Middle: reverse wound, reverse polarity). White “Parchment” color pickguard & back cover plate (has “yellowed” a bit with age). TBX Tone Control Circuit. Includes Mounting Screws & Tremolo Cover. It’s older and shows wear from play as you might expect. All parts are in perfect working condition and no functional issues with any of the wiring or other components.
