This was tried on a guitar we built for literally 2 minutes only, so it is practically new. This listing is for regular 11 hole pickguard, and it will fit all Fender American, Mexico, Japanese, and Custom Shop strat with 11 mounting screw holes. We can modify the pickguard for you. -High quality no lead soldering tin free from oxidation (the same used on high end stereo system). Featuring a pre-CBS 1960s Strat®-style wind, our Strat Blackface Pickups give you a classic Strat tone with full body and punch. The overall tone has a prominent midrange, clear treble, and full bass with a well-defined, piano-like attack. Includes medium output with vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4. Neck 6.4K, middle 6.5K, and bridge 6.8K. We can also modify this loaded pickguard with any pickups or any custom wiring needs. For example, you can combine these pickups with any Fender or Duncan pickups; or add a Duncan liberator system or 1-3 mini toggle switches (like 7 function Gilmour switch, or the phase inverting switch, or a coil split push pull pot, or a Fender S1 system, adding a bassplate or vintage shielding etc) for more versatile wiring (extra charges may apply). Fender American Strat Plus 1989, Modded withBrian May Tri Sonic Loaded Pickguard

In the process of “thinning the heard” a bit. If your a Strat player you will not be. The Burns pickups sound great. Please note the mini toggle switch which gives you 7 way switching. The Trem arm is included and shown in the last picture. This 1989 American Strat Plus (With Mods) plays great, the frets are in real good shape. It has a few small cosmetic blemishes. Overall great shape for a guitar of this age, or any age for that matter. Original locking tuners and bridge. New roller nut which greatly stabilized the tremolo along with the TS-1. I swapped out the original Gold Lace Sensor Pickguard with TBX years ago. It has had several loaded pickguards since then. As with all Strats’, just swap out with another loaded pickguard and you have a new sound. Guitar has professionally upgraded features including.. 1 An LSR roller nut. 2 A TS 1 tremolo stabilizer installed. These are not the mini Burns pickups, they are the full size signature Brian Mays. Very little wood was removed, only fractions of an inch, on either side of the pickups. Original Hard shell Fender plastic case is included. The case has a dent (pictured) but it opens and closes fine. This is a great playing, sounding, looking guitar. I have been collecting gear for over 50 years and its time to let go of some items. (Plus the wife says “enough is enough”). No international or overseas buyers.
