You are looking at a brand new pre-wired pickguard with a set of 3 genuine Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickups. The color for this listing is aged white on gold anodized metal pickguard (note that the aged cream covers will have Fender “noiseless” logo). It looks very cool! Inspiring, stimulating and exciting. Sound with a nice bite and Bell-like ring. Clapton’s Brownie was a 1956 Strat with original 56 pickups considered by many to be the best sounding Strat pickups from Fender. The original Blackie reputedly had early 70’s pickups which a lot of players report have an unexciting, somewhat bland but bright sound which we have no desire to emulate. The Impersonator A56 has the treble response and we added some nice dynamics and some nice gritty bite and Bell-like ring that genuine 56 Strat pickups were known for. We think Blackie would have sounded even better with the Impersonator A56. Fender’s Clapton’s Signature Strat has Vintage Noiseless pickups according to Fender’s Website. There is no way we would want to emulate those pickups. Some people will call these noiseless Stratocaster pickups but Kinman prefers to describe them correctly as Zero-Hum Stratocaster pickups. It is Alnico-5 but has 40% less string pull than Alnico-5 so sustain is longer and there is much less clatter from string crash and no Strat-itis string warble. Pickups set sont 3 “non-aged sound” Impersonator Fat 50 + System K9 multi-tone Sans Soudure – 3 ply 11 trous Loaded Pickguard Blanc. Chris Kinman a conçu un kit de contrôle électronique complet à monter sans soudure. Le kit comprend des mini connecteurs pour relier les micros au switch cinq voies, et un bornier miniature qui se connecte à la prise jack et au tremolo prête à l’emploi. Les potentiomètres et le switch sont câblés. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour monter la plaque est un couple de tournevis, un clé de 13 pour les pots et le jack. Le système pré-cablé K9 Harness permet aussi d’étendre la tonalité disponible. Le système K9 utilise un push-push, intégré au contrôle de tonalité inférieur, qui passe de la configuration de commutation Strat habituelle à un nouveau système qui bascule le couple micro Bridge + Middle de parallèle à série. Le K9 fournit les 5 tonalités Strat traditionnels plus 4 tonalités nouvelles. Les 6e, 7e et 8e tonalités sont des variations autour du son typique de Knopfler (“quack”) tandis que le 9e son, plutot de type Gibson avec P-90 fournit une augmentation du gain pour les sons crunchy naturels. “Discover the Magic: Hear the difference, Feel the difference, Make the difference” Les micros Kinman ont un double bobinage et sont hum-cancelled (noiseless). Ils ont une attaque et une sonorité exceptionnelle : Le must! La disposition des poles magnétiques suit naturellement l’écart entre les cordes (assure que les poles s’alignent avec les cordes pour chaque position): étroit 49,5mm pour le micro manche – intermédiaire 51 mm pour le milieu – 52,5 mm standard pour le micro chevalet. Les poles magnétiques ont des hauteurs échelonnées spécifiques pour chaque cordes qui conviennent à tous les radius compris entre 7″ et 14″ y compris les manches à radius variables (compound) par ex. 7.25″ 9.5″. Les Micros Kinman sont montés preferentiellement sur toutes nos guitares “Custom Design” (OEM). Chris Kinman designed a complete electronic control kit to be mounted without any need for soldering. The kit includes tiny connectors to link the pickups to the five-way switch, and a miniature terminal strip that connects to the ready-wired jack socket. The pots and switch come ready-wired and there’s even a terminal strip slot for the grounding wire that goes to the back of the tremolo or bridge assembly. All you need to complete the job are a couple of screwdrivers, spanners for the pot and jack nuts. Chris has also designed a system of switching/mixing options to extend the available tone. The K9 harness provides all 5 normal Strat sounds plus 4 new dimension sounds. The 6th, 7th and 8th sounds are variations of the distinctive Knopfler-esque quack sound while the 9th sound is in Gibson P-90 territory and provides boost in output for natural crunch sounds. These are selected with the lower Push/Push pot. Kinman Pickups have a double coil. Accordingly, its are hum-canceled (noiseless). They have a percussive attack and a fabulous sound: The must! – Intermediate 51mm for middle. Standard 52.5mm for bridge. Normal improved Magnet Stagger to suit 7 14 inch uniform radius fretboards including USA Custom Guitar Compound 7-1/4 9-1/2. SRV’s Strat produced a sound with extra bite, presence and harmonic bloom in loud passages and a nice woody bark from the low wound strings and soulful highs in slower passages. The new Kinman Impersonator Fat 50 also produces this sound with added expression factor, without mains hum. Archetype Non-Aged Sound delivers exceptional dynamic range and explosive thwack attack, excellent transparent piano mid tones and exceptional bell-like ring and presence, sweet blooming & biting highs. These are two of our supreme Strat models and is what makes Kinman The KING of noiseless pickups for Stratocaster and other guitars.
