Fender Stratocaster Loaded Pickguard with Custom Hand Wound SRV Number One #1 Tribute Pickups form Migas Touch Pickups. The pickguard was pulled from a genuine Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster. We removed the pickups and installed a set of Custom Hand Wound Number One Tribute Pickups from Migas Touch. Protective Plastic is still on the pickguard. Guitar Not Included, Loaded Pickguard Only. Copper foil wrapping and grounding acts as a “shorted turn” which basically clips off the treble a bunch. These pickups are heavy formvar and can be on the squeaky clean/bright side so this helps mellow them down some. Even though the vintage Fender pickups are more mellow sounding than new pickups, some of the better preserved ones can still be pretty bright. So a basically unfinished guitar and shielded pickups really soften the pickups in a good combination. I did the research when reproducing these pickups using period correct USA made components. From the vulcanized fiber flat work, Alnico V Magnets that are aged and hand beveled with the same stagger as used by Fender for the Stratocaster in 1959. With the Heavy Formvar. Copper foil wrapping and grounding which acts as a shorter turn which clips off the treble. Everything about these pickups is as correct as can be made and replicate the pickups in The famous Number One Strat. Stevie would keep these pickups low, close to the pickguard and had a high action using heavier strings. With a low gain amp and cranking it up in combination with these pickups is how Stevie pulled the amazing tones from his guitar. These are the real deal and I did not use other methods to try and replicate his sound like many others do but using same components to come as close as possible to match the pickups he used. We lacquer seal all of our bobbins for durability then fully wax pot them to avoid microphonic noises and squeals. All of our pickups are hand wound and scatterwound. Each of our hand-wound sets are signed and dated. 100% made in the USA. Heavy Formvar 42 wire. Neck and Bridge North Up with the Middle South Up. Period correct staggered pole pieces with aged finish. Average read outs: Neck 5.9, Middle 5.5, Bridge 5.5 but each may vary slightly. Period correct cloth push back wire. Copper foil wrapping and grounding. Genuine Fender SRV Pickguard and Wiring from SRV Signature Strat. Thanks for your Support. SRV Number One #1 Tribute Stratocaster Guitar Hand Wound Shielded Pickups Set. Awesome pickups at an awesome price. The fit, finish and the tone is comparable to the big boutique brands. Incredibly satisfied with the service and the item showed up fast and expertly packaged. Would and will do business with again in the near future. Hurry and get your order in before there is a wait! Thank you very much. Really looking forward to dropping those in my guitar. I did a little research and hands down I believe this is the best deal on the planet for top notch hand wound pickups. A must for the true Hendrix and Gilmore sound of the late and early 70’s. Look and sound like the. A steal for the price.

Hand-wound’60s Strat-style loaded pickguard, hand-wired with quality components and ready to drop in. The result is a classic’60s Strat tone with added sparkle on the top end, while still holding onto body and balance. With a slightly stronger presence, it cuts through cleanly and stays defined when pushed, delivering that familiar bell-like Strat character without turning muddy under gain. Everything is fully assembled, hand-wired and tested before it leaves the bench, so you get a clear, articulate setup that drops straight into your guitar. No soldering, no chasing parts, no guesswork. High-scatter Hand-wound Classic’60s Strat-style single coils. 42 AWG poly magnet wire. Middle: 6.0k (RWRP for hum-cancelling in positions 2 & 4). Oak Grigsby 5-way blade switch. CTS 250k audio taper pots. 0.047µF 225P film capacitor, Elpac. Tone 2: middle + bridge. Fits most modern Strat-style guitars. May not fit some Squier models.

Part of my Bench Series – builds assembled from quality components pulled from previous projects, reworked and tested on the bench. A versatile setup – clear and open in the neck, with a bit more push from the bridge when you lean into it. A balanced set that covers clean rhythm through to slightly hotter lead tones, with the hand-wound pickups adding character and depth. Hand-wound bridge and middle pickups. RWRP middle for hum-cancelling in positions 2 & 4. Protective film still on pickguard.

The hotter bridge gives you added output and cut for lead work, while the middle and neck stay clear, open, and responsive. It’s wired with a 920D Custom USA-spec CRL 5-way blade switch, CTS pots, vintage-style cloth wire, and a 0.033uF 400V K40Y-9B Russian paper-in-oil capacitor. Hand-wound by me in my workshop. 920D Custom USA-spec CRL 5-way blade selector switch. 0.033uF 400V K40Y-9B Russian paper-in-oil capacitor. Hotter bridge for added output and lead work. 2024 Fender Custom Shop “Wildwood 10″ hand wound Stratocaster loaded pickguard. Barely used yet at all. Still has the protective plastic on the pickguard and cover. The guitar this came from had the NOS finish package so everything is new looking without artificial wear or relic work done. Color is “Parchment” on the Floor Traveler. The wildwood description of these below. I have a lot of Fender Custom Shop and USA parts listed, maybe still more from this guitar. We believe that the Wildwood 10 Strat pickups our friends at Fender wind for us are some of the finest single-coils in the world. Here’s a quick rundown of what makes them tick. They’re slightly underwound, which gives them exceptional dynamic response and touch sensitivity. You can really alter your sound based on how hard you’re hitting, which makes for a wonderfully expressive playing experience. However, they are wound with thicker wire like Fender did in the sixties, which gives them a little more power and guts despite being underwound. As a result, their voice is similar to vintage Strat pickups we love with lots of bell-like chime and vocal response, but with a little extra warmth and muscle. Although they are not exactly the same as a real vintage example, we think they capture the magic sound of a great vintage Strat, giving you access to the iconic sound that shaped countless classic records. We have no doubt they will make your heartstrings resonate!
