This relic loaded Stratocaster SSS pickguard features Alnico 2, hand-wound vintage,’50s vibe pickups wound and assembled entirely by me. It’s a drop-in replacement for most modern Strats. Just solder the output jack and you’re ready to play. If you’re a looking for an upgrade or something new for your Strat, this will be a nice upgrade. Alnico 2 pickups are clean and have excellent sustain. If your amp has some headroom, you’ll be able to drive it a bit harder before it breaks up. This is a mild relic. The pickguard has been lightly sanded and the knobs have been distressed to be dirty looking. It’s been on my shop bench for a little bit which will rough it up a little.
