1996 Fender Standard Stratocaster Loaded Body – Made in Mexico – Lake Placid Blue – Complete Electronics. For sale is an original loaded body from a 1996 Fender Standard Stratocaster made in Mexico, finished in a gorgeous Lake Placid Blue. It’s an ideal foundation for a Strat build or restoration. Overall, the body is in excellent condition. The only notable cosmetic flaw is a small area of finish damage on the lower bout near the output jack, which is shown in the photos. Aside from that blemish, the finish presents very well with only light signs of normal use. Original 1996 Fender Standard Stratocaster body. Lake Placid Blue finish. This is an unusual build because we got an unused Fender US 60th Anniversary pickguard and it had physical damage to pickguard so we replaced it with a new GOLD Anodized pickguard (we have the original SKU). We took the opportunity to wire it with a Dual Vintage Booster used Original Cloth Wiring to match the original wiring and we replaced the volume with a brand new CTS Volume TAOT Brass Shaft Vintage dish pot to smooth out it’s performance.
