You are looking at a brand new hand-wired loaded pre-wired HH pickguard with Dimarzio DP166 (Breed bridge) and DP165 (Breed neck) humbuckers hand made in USA. Both humbuckers are F-spaced version designed for strat guitars, so they will line up well with your strat’s strings. This pickguard is designed to replicate the famous guitar master Joe Satriani’s and Steve Vai’s signature tone. If you like Satriani’s early tone in Surfing with the Aliens, Summer Song, Love Thing, Cool #9, Always with Me, you should get this pickguard and upgrade your strat. The Breed pickups are also used by Steve Vai in many of his recent songs for the excellent midrange frequencies. If you’re a fan of Steve Vai, you’ve probably seen him playing an Ibanez Jem guitar with the word “Pogo” taped on the face. Follow these masters’ choice, and you won’t go wrong. We guarantee you will hear the improvement in tone! The pickguard also comes pre-installed a Seymour Duncan Liberator system that allows you to install your wires without soldering. This Fender stratocaster loaded pickguard is a take off of the Joe Satriani Signature Ibanez model and features the DiMarzio Satch Track in the neck position along with the Mo’ Joe in the bridge position. There are two Bourns push-pull pots, the volume push-pull pot enables a high pass filter and the bottom tone push-pull splits the coils of both pickups. We used a Switchcraft 3 way toggle and wired the pickguard with Gavitt vintage wiring. This year Joe asked DiMarzio for a hotter and bigger version to replace the Fred in his Ibanez guitars. The name says it all. It has more power than the Fred, but it doesn’t sacrifice clarity or dynamics. Having more output makes it a perfect match for the PAF Joe in the neck position. The combination delivers great versatility and control from rhythms to solos. Recommended For: bridge position, solid and semi hollowbody guitars. 920D Strat Loaded Pickguard with DiMarzio Satriani Satch Track / Mo’ Joe BK/BK. Sigler Music is proud to be the exclusive US reseller of 920D Custom products. This Fender stratocaster loaded pickguard is a take off of the Joe Satriani Signature Ibanez model and features the DiMarzio Satch Track in the neck position along with the Mo’ Joe in the bridge position. There are two Bourns push-pull pots, the volume push-pull pot enables a high pass filter and the bottom tone push-pull splits the coils of both pickups. We used a Switchcraft 3 way toggle and wired the pickguard with Gavitt vintage wiring. This year Joe asked DiMarzio for a hotter and bigger version to replace the Fred in his Ibanez guitars. The name says it all. It has more power than the Fred, but it doesn’t sacrifice clarity or dynamics. Having more output makes it a perfect match for the PAF Joe in the neck position. The combination delivers great versatility and control from rhythms to solos. Recommended For: bridge position, solid and semi hollowbody guitars. Tech Talk: The last few years have seen Joe develop a new signature tube amp and start using heavier-gauge strings more often. DiMarzio achieved this by slightly increasing the distance between the center frequencies that the coils are tuned to, without increasing DC resistance. DiMarzio DP425BK Satch Track Joe Satriani is continually refining and sharpening his sound. Tech Talk The Satch Track Neck bridges the gap between classic humbucker and single-coil performance. It tracks pick attack and string vibration quickly and accurately like a single-coil, but the voicing is wider and stronger, like a humbucker.
