This listing is for regular 11 hole pickguard, and it will fit all Fender American, Mexico, Japanese, and Custom Shop strat with 11 mounting screw holes. There is a protective plastic cover on the pickguard to be peeled off when you get it. These pickups have the typical Fender vintage 50s fat, warm, and woody sound! We can also do any custom color of pickguard loaded with any pickups with any custom wiring needs. For example, you can combine Fralin pickups with any Fender or Duncan pickups; or add a Duncan liberator system or 1-3 mini toggle switches (like 7 function Gilmour switch, or the phase inverting switch, or a coil split push pull pot, or a Fender S1 system, adding a bassplate or vintage shielding etc) for more versatile wiring (extra charges may apply). Our Custom Shop can do ANYTHING you want! Everything coming with the pickguard is brand new quality parts. Brand new Fender 60s style 5 way toggle switch. Brand new Fender CTS pots (top quality, if you know them), turns extremely smoothly. The same American-made top quality cotton wrapped (shielded) wires used in Fender Custom Shop (Double-cloth jacket has a waxed cotton outer braid and a Celanese inner braid just like Leo used). High quality no lead soldering tin free from oxidation (the same used on high end stereo system). So all you need to do is connect these two wires to your output jack. They are a little more aggressive without losing the vintage sweetness. When distorted it will not get muddy. It really sounds great overdriven and can push an amp. A lot of stronger Strat pickups don’t sound very good clean but this one sounds great and can get super funky. In a lot of RWRP sets, positions 2 and 4 lack life. But these is plenty of bounce, spank and quack in positions 2 and 4 with this set. These pickups clean up great by rolling back the volume. They also work great with the tone pots to tame a harsh amp. Vintage Tone for Modern Times. It would have a logical step forward from the 50’s & 60’s. The way construct these things give you more Punch, Sting & Volume than our much loved 60’s pickups. The Punchy characteristic was inspired by the lack of vintage style pickups on the market with good Punchy tone. Our painstaking design and testing process has yielded pickups that that sound great with tube amps, pedals, solid state amps, digital devices and even software.
