This Prewired SSS humbucking build features three hot wound Dragonfire AR5 Rails wired on a custom designed pickguard to fit standard Fender USA/Mexican 11-hole 2002 & Newer US & MIM Standards. These 4-wire AR5 pickups offer humbucker performance in the size of a standard Strat single coil so you don’t have to carve up your body in order to get the humbucking features and versatility you want. Dragonfire AR5s are designed with dual blade rails on a full-encompassing bobbin for a sleek, modern and complete look. These are some of the hottest passive pickups available in a single coil size and can be used in any standard Strat single coil space. The controls for this prewired guard include 1 master volume in Position 1, 1 middle tone control in Position 2 (tone control for single coil mode only), and 1 neck tone control in Position 3 (tone control for single coil mode only). The built-in coil splitting and associated wiring featured with this set-up provide many tonal variations and performance options so you’ll be able to find different combos providing differing results. Mirror guards are made from an acrylic material designed to protect the mirror finish and will reflect your unique surroundings. Most guards come with pre-applied protective covering and aluminum shielded electronics area (shape & color may vary). Some specialty colors/styles may have single or double-sided protective covering without pre-applied aluminum shielding (shielding sheet included separately for application at your discretion). This loaded guard will come with three open wires. Red is hot and should be soldered to the tip of your jack (not included). Both blacks are grounds. One should be soldered to your jack sleeve and the other should be grounded to your trem/bridge. Take your time for installation; do not use power tools and do not over-tighten screws or other components.
